Santiago to Ushuaia to Beagle Channel
A flight to Ushuaia, Argentina in Tierra del Fuego and we’re getting closer... Ushuaia is the southern-most city on the world. We took a short tour before embarking and were on our way at 8:00pm. It was surprising to see how very green and lush everything is here. Larry said it reminded him of British Columbia.
We’re on the boat!!! It’s absolutely beautiful. And our cabin is right behind the bridge – just a short walk to what is an honest to goodness open bridge – you can go out there any time to watch. 154 passengers and 100 crew members seems like a good ratio to us. This is going to be great!

We should have learned German…
